Welcome to Basics AI Education Academy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at https://basics.aieduacademy.com (the “Site”) and all associated services, courses, tools, and content (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the Site or Services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 13, you may not use our Services. Parents or guardians of users aged 13–17 must review and consent to these Terms on their behalf.
2. Account Registration & Security
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it promptly. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@basics.aieduacademy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including course materials, videos, text, graphics, logos, software, and trademarks—is the property of Basics AI Education Academy or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any content without our prior written consent.
4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
You agree not to: (a) use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Site’s security features or servers; (c) upload malicious code or content; (d) impersonate any person or entity; (e) harvest or collect personal data from other users; or (f) use automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) without explicit permission.
5. Fees, Payments & Refunds
Some Services may require payment. All fees are listed in USD and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in a course-specific policy or required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days’ notice via email or Site announcement. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers; we do not store full credit card details.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms our users, systems, or reputation. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections 3 (Intellectual Property), 7 (Disclaimer), 8 (Limitation of Liability), and 10 (Governing Law) survive termination.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION OF THE SITE. CONTENT IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BASICS AI EDUCATION ACADEMY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PRIOR SIX (6) MONTHS.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. You consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The most current version will always be posted at https://basics.aieduacademy.com/terms-conditions. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Last updated: March 15, 2025.
